Chart Of The Month: November 2013

On the 12th of each month I post a “Chart Of The Month” on local or national real estate.

This month my chart strays a little from real estate (directly). The chart below shows federal non-defense spending since 1981, under the current and past four administrations. Imagine what type of recovery we would be witnessing and what housing demand would look like if federal spending was not so low. Go here for a more in-depth look at whether or not we have a spending problem or a revenue problem in this country right now.

Spending problem? We don’t have no stinkin’ spending problem….
