Moving To Alpharetta: Where Are They Coming From?
I came across this very interesting tool on Forbes.com. It seems that in 2008 more than 10 million Americans moved from one county to another. According to the map, which doesn’t provide actual figures, it seems that most people searching for real estate here in the Atlanta area, and buy a home in Fulton County, come from the North East and Florida. Most people moving from Fulton County head out West.
It’s not terribly meaningful but it’s an interesting map – check it out here: Moving To Alpharetta
We know, according to an AJC articlelast month, that the ARC is expecting to add 3 million people over the next 30 years. With most of those people coming from the Northeast and Florida will we all start speaking with a Brooklyn accent? Fuggedaboutit!
