The months of available inventory for Residential Attached homes in the city of ALPHARETTA. At the time of this post there are 293 active listings, 378 sold over the past 12 months. This is slightly lower than the 9.7 months of available Condo / Townhome inventory in Forysth County. Definition: residential attached includes town homes and condos.
On the last day of each month I post a “Big Number” or interesting figure related to real estate in our area.
Assuming that a number between 5 & 6 is typical in a healthy housing market, this remains a pretty bad number and will likely reflect a further drop in prices in 2011.
How does the number for single family detached compare? My guess is that it’s slightly lower but not too much.
Mike – for single family detached it is 9.2 months of inventory, essentially the same.
